Peter Cameron
Peter Cameron spent his working life in numerous countries from Libya to Australia. He spent the period from 1974 to 1977 in Qatar, as Manager of Standard Chartered Bank. He has also worked in Libya, Lebanon, Iraq, and the Yeman so has had wide Middle East experience. Following his retirement from the Bank in 1989 he joined R-REC to indulge his love of old cars. He currently owns a 1936 25/30 Sedanca de Ville and a 1965 Silver Cloud III Flying Spur. He regularly participates in the Club's Euro and International Rallies and during the 1999 Jordan Rally he first conceived the idea of arranging an event in Malaysia. After the spectacular success of the Malaysia Truly Asia Tour in 2001 he was asked by the Malaysian Government to bring the R-REC back to the country in 2005. On this occasion the event was held in Borneo. Participants in these events indicated that they would like another rally to be arranged and so the concept of the Arabian Gulf Adventure was born.

Diana Chambers
Diana is a keen supporter of the long haul tours and participated in both the Malaysia 2001 and Borneo 2005 rallies. Together with her partner Richard, who owns a number of prestigious marques, they have been to South Africa and the U.S. with the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club travelling in an imitation lightweight ‘E’ type Jaguar. Diana and Richard are also members of the R-REC and have attended numerous tours through Europe including the annual Euro Rally, in their 1972 Corniche Convertible. Diana was secretary of the Thames Valley Section, but had to step down due to the pressures of working full time. Diana lives in Henley-on-Thames and works as a P.A. for a global gas exploration company based in Reading. Diana is acting as Tour Secretary and is responsible for administration on the Arabian Gulf Adventure.

Simon Buck

Simon is a committee member of the RREC Central Southern Section and has helped organise several successful national and international Club events and rallies. Having spent ten years working for one of Europe’s leading travel companies, Simon brings valuable experience to the tour organisation and will be focusing on the flight arrangements. Simon currently works as Head of Public Relations for Britain’s leading examinations board and owns a 1952 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith and a 1981 Rolls-Royce Corniche Convertible, the latter of which he enjoyed on both the 2001 Malaysia Truly Asia tour and the 2005 Borneo Experience.
Andrew Honour
Andrew is Treasurer of the Central Southern Section of the RREC and will be co-ordinating financial and insurance aspects for the rally. Andrew has organised many RREC events and rallies and owns a 1965 Bentley S3 Continental. Andrew participated in the 2001 Malaysia Truly Asia tour and, in 2005, assisted with the organisation of and logistics for the Borneo Experience tour. Andrew is a keen and accomplished photographer and will be providing a photographic record of the rally. In his day job, Andrew is a Finance Manager within Sussex Police.
Tony Copsey
Tony Copsey has been involved with the motor trade all his life and is an established dealer in used Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars. R-R.E.C. club member for 23 years and is Chairman of the Essex Section. Participated on the Malaysian tour, involved with technical support in Borneo and has acted as judge on many Euro Rallies. On this occasion Tony will be responsible for shipping arrangements and once again will be involved with technical support, working with Dennis Haynes on the Arabian Gulf Adventure event and his covered trailer will be with us at all times. Dennis Haynes
Dennis Haynes our technician who supported us in Borneo will again be our Mr Fix-it on the Arabian Gulf Adventure event. A factory trained technician with 22 years main dealer experience and fifteen years in his own company. Dennis is conversant with all models.
