Thursday 29th January

The team were back in Southampton in time to see the Aegean Leader arrive at 11.00 hrs. We prepared the cars and were ready when the loading call came at 13.00hrs. The cars were driven on by our enthusiastic team and the Chairman timed his efforts to ensure that he drove the Yung's New Phantom aboard. A delightful experience and he now wants one! All the cars behaved beautifully except a temperamental W.O. Bentley that had to be towed aboard. We can see all the W.O. owners biting their finger nails wondering whether it was their car! Don’t worry, once on board the problem was solved. The ship sailed as scheduled at 16.00 hrs and we all headed home for a rest before we get together in Doha when she arrives on 19th February.
